printJSC “INDEXBANK” is a successful universal bank that operates at the financial market for 16 years at a run and gives full range of modern banking services to all categories of corporate and private customers on all territory of ukraine.
INDEXBANK was founded as a private bank on February 10, 1993 in Lvov. It was registered under the name of “Zolotoy Lev” (Golden lion). In November 1993, the Bank was reorganized into an open joint-stock company.
In the next three years the economic conditions changed, the Bank extended considerably, acquired a good reputation in Western ukraine and began to face new objectives and tasks. At that time, the development of a regional network in uncovered regions was one of the important activities.
On October, 28, 1996 the Bank changed its name for Joint-stock company “INDUSTRIAL EXPORT BANK”, and since September, 22, 2009 the new official name of "INDEXBANK" enters into an action — public joint-stock company “INDUSTRIAL EXPORT BANK”. Short official name is pJSC “INDEXBANK”.
The development of the Bank, the growth of its financial indexes and the entry to the national market underlay a decision to transfer the head office from Lvov to Kiev. On February 10, 2000, Kiev became the new place of the Bank’s head office.
In April 2000, the Bank was one of the first at the ukrainian market of banking services that began to realize a project “Car crediting” and now it is one of the most active and successful banks engaging in the car crediting. In 2007 INDEXBANK became the partner of the first program of autocrediting of a bank with an autoproducer in ukraine — Renault Finance, and little later — also program Nissan Finance, producers of Renault and Nissan and their official importers to our market. Except for afore-mentioned, today the Bank works within the framework of the partner programs also with the official dealers of cars of brands of Toyota, Mazda, Suzuki, Subaru and constantly extends this list.
Together with various types of credits granted to legal entities and individuals, in July 2002, the Bank began to grant credits to agricultural enterprises within new projects called “Tractor in credit” and “Combine in credit”.
In 2001, the Bank was given the right to render services related to the payment of the pension and the monetary support.
In February 2002, "INDEXBANK" became an associate member of the international payment system Visa International and in July of the same year it began to serve microprocessor cards of the Russian payment system “Zolotaya Corona” (Golden Crown).
On October 30, 2003, the Bank became an affiliated member of the international payment system MasterCard and received a license to issue MasterCard Gold, Standard and Maestro cards.
On August 31, 2006, one of the largest international financial groups by an origin from France — Credit Agricole Group — became a holder of 99.967% of shares of pJSC “INDEXBANK”.
After INDEXBANK entered Credit Agricole Group began new scale coil of his development, which showed up as an improvement of all processes and services in accordance with international standards.
Now the regional network of "INDEXBANK" includes 215 points of sale in the Republic of Crimea, Vinnitsa, Volyn’, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhitomir, Zakarpatskaya, Zaporozhie, Ivano-Frankovsk, Kiev, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Lvov, Nikolayev, Odessa, poltava, Rovno, Sumy, Ternopol, Kharkov, Kherson, Khmelnitsky, Cherkassy, Chernovtsy and Chernigov regions and Kiev.
